How to gain exposure as a comedy writer?

I’ve recently begun writing a twice-weekly comedy “blog” and I really want to increase readership beyond friends and family. Ideally I’d love to become a writer as a career, but you gotta start somewhere! Let’s say I actually AM talented (friends and family say I am but don’t really lend a critical eye)..how can I gain more readers and exposure for my talents?
